It’s not “doing agile”, Scrum, XP, whatever.
It’s not about being right.
It’s not about avoiding the waterfall, avoiding documentation, avoiding MS Project.
It’s about doing a good job, and increasing revenue.
Be pragmatic, but keep the ideals. Be enthusiastic. Ask for help. Accept help. Play to win.
